Censorship:
If you've been around on the internet for a while, you'll notice that much content has disappeared or is being restricted.
This became all the more apparent when the Coronavirus pandemic of 2020 arose.
Several credible medical professionals lost their platform and / or registrations.
Other forms of censorship include (but not limited to):
• Shadowbanning (platforms less likely to show your content to others).
• Social media private messaging censoring certain keywords and websites.
• Government sponsored sinister people taking administration roles on local groups (that ban you even if your conduct is reasonable in presenting a differing view on something).
• Search engines removing critical sites from the search results (Duck Duck Goose / Zuck Zuck Go was a more recent one).
Some methods of circumventing censorship include (but not limited to):
• Deliberately mis spelling trigger keywords
• Scrubbing out characters that are part of certain keywords (to obstruct Optical Character Recognition)
• Introducing noise in to an image to obstruct Optical Character Recognition.
Unless you know where to start looking, it can be a daunting task of trying to find information. Discerning what's likely to be true and half true is a different story - that's the goal of this website to help you decide.
